The Power of Presence
Women and Men Healing and Awakening Together
Nicholas Janni and Joey Walters
London, December 7th/8th 2019
During our time together, we will work in small groups and plenary to explore:
Bringing into felt awareness the patterns, the hurts and the scars we carry as women and as men, individually and in our relating to each other
Seeing how deeply these are embedded in our culture and in our lineages
Giving space to emotions such as rage, grief, shame, fear and joy, as well the layers of mistrust and unsafety within and between us
The re-writing of how women and men may relate in a new paradigm of power and respect, in new kinds of intimacy and collaboration
We will develop and use the following practices:
Presencing with precision what is happening inside us, physically, emotionally and mentally
Deepening our listening and attunement to each other
Moving and breathing exercises to deepen our embodiment
Developing a spacious, meditative awareness as an essential ground for this work
Tuning in to ancestral streams in ways that allow the possibility of intergenerational healing
Creating a strong enough personal and group vessel to turn towards the collective traumas we are embedded in, and facing those energies responsibly and in ways that contribute to Restoration
We will also use ritual and ceremony to enable our breakthroughs and learnings to embed themselves.
In this work we build a deeply open, embodied and attuned field of Presence together
This allows us to reveal and gain powerful new insights into our individual, ancestral and collective structures. These structures are embedded in our lives and in our culture. Even if we know about some of them cognitively, we are generally unaware of their full nature and impact.
By creating a safe and precise relational space of Presence where everything can be included, we open the possibility of engaging deep processes of Healing and Restoration – a space of deep listening , a repairing of our wounding, and a coming home to our fullest and highest potentials of body, heart mind and soul.

Ever since a life-changing awakening at age 16, Nicholas Janni has devoted his life to the development of consciousness and to healing. In his first career he was a theatre director. He taught acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and directed his own theatre company. He has spent over 30 years researching the theory and the practice of ‘the zone’ of peak performance in art, life and work, and has studied and practiced multiple mind/body disciplines.
Over the last 20 years he has gained an international reputation for his transformational coaching and leadership development seminars. He works with organisations, NGO’s and senior leaders worldwide and teaches at the IMD Business School in Switzerland. He bridges the worlds of creative, personal, spiritual and professional development in a uniquely powerful, relevant and accessible way. He studied intensively with modern mystic Thomas Hübl for the last five years and leads intergenerational and collective trauma work in the UK, US, Israel and The Middle East.
Joey Walters has dedicated the last 20 years of her career to the field of women’s awakening and feminine leadership. After suffering burnout as a leader in her first career in marketing communications, she followed her passion for helping women to recognise and transform the innerglass ceiling, bringing their feminine wisdom and values forward as social change leaders.
Having studied for 10 years with Earth Wisdom Teachers and integrated many other transformative practices, Joey brings nature-based wisdom, systemic healing and ritual to contemporary leadership, guiding women through the tender inner journey of awakening and transformation that accompanies the authentic expression of their gifts. Joey has been leading women’s Circles (for individuals and organisations) for many years, developing a depth of experience in holding space for personal and collective healing. She has created her own body of Circle work and leads experiential online programmes and retreats for ‘Awakening Feminine Leaders’, learning to Hold Space through ‘The Power of Circle’.
